COMPREHENSIVE BOOKKEEPING PACKAGE
DEDICATED ACCOUNT SPECIALIST
Each owner will receive a dedicated account specialist who knows the ins and outs of your specific business. Our account specialists are dedicated bookkeepers who will be available for any questions you may have.
BANK RECONCILIATION
Each month, a bank reconciliation is completed to ensure that all transactions which occur through your business bank accounts or credit cards are accounted for. If our team needs clarification about these transactions, they will reach out to you directly in order to resolve them.
MONTHLY FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
Each month, you will receive a variety of customized financial reports based on your specific business location. If you have multiple businesses that use UniFi Bookkeeping Services, you will receive comprehensive reporting for each location.
Annual Close and Financial Statements
At the end of each calendar year, our bookkeepers and managing staff will do an intensive review of your business’ financials throughout the year. If any clarification is needed, they will reach out to you directly to resolve their questions. These annual reports are what you can provide to your CPA in order to file taxes.
WEEKLY DATA ENTRY
You will receive a dedicated bookkeeper who will enter weekly transactions from your bank and other platforms to ensure that everything is kept up to date throughout the month.
MONTH CLOSE AND ADJUSTMENTS
Once the calendar month is complete, your account specialist will reach out to you with a list of any questions that they may have discovered during their weekly updating. Once these questions are resolved, you will receive financial reports by the 15th of each month.
CUSTOM FRANCHISE SYSTEM REPORTING
UniFi has streamlined the task of connecting to all types of software and platforms, and can include reports from these systems in your monthly reporting, if applicable.
Coordination with tax preparer for annual return
UniFi is happy to work with your CPA or any account representatives to provide details for reporting that your CPA may need to file your taxes. Please note, the only type of tax filing services that UniFi provides is a Sales Tax service. This does not include annual income tax filing.

What is the Difference Between Bookkeeping and Accounting?
There are many different aspects that are classified under the umbrella of accounting, and bookkeeping is one of them. An individual must pass the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam to be considered an accountant, while the requirements for a bookkeeping title are much more subjective. Therefore, an accountant may be a bookkeeper, but a bookkeeper cannot be an accountant without the required certifications.
What is a CPA?
CPA stands for “Certified Public Accountant” and it is a license that is achieved in the accounting field. Each state has a Board of Accountancy who provides the license, and it is given to an individual after they complete a rigorous test called the CPA exam.

Onboarding
We start by evaluating your books and setting everything up to ensure the highest quality reports. This includes your chart of accounts, services and products, vendor list, etc. Then we make sure everything is caught up and current.
Bookkeeping
Throughout the month we’ll update your books on a weekly basis. We enter bills, update your bank registers, record revenue, book payrolls and anything else that’s needed! Your books stay up to date all month long!
Reporting
At the end of the month, you receive your financial reports. Have any questions on your reports? Need help navigating what everything means? No problem! Your dedicated bookkeeper is available anytime to assist as needed.
